Sakinah's petition to the Prime Minister
Petition of Sakinah, the mother of Husayn ‘Ali, the publisher of the Badr newspaper, to the Prime Minister. She complains about her son's arrest and describes the hardship the family has suffered in the forty days since his arrest, namely her fall that injured her leg on her way to submit one of her petitions, and the miscarriage her daughter has suffered. She asks for an investigation and demands that if her son is found guilty, the family be offered some kind of assistance.

Petition on the letterhead of the Majlis signed by some of Muzaffar al-Din Shah's inheritors: Aqdas al-Dawlah, Qamar al-Saltanah, ‘Izzat al-Dawlah, Fakhr al-Dawlah, Shukuh al-Dawlah, Aqdas al-Saltanah, Anvar al-Dawlah, A‘zam al-Dawlah, and Nur al-Saltanah. A Jewish woman named Sitarah who kept wine in her house calls for help from her coreligionists when the agent of the office of Finance in Garus confiscates her wine. This causes a conflict between Nur Allah Ibrahim Zadah, the head of the Aliyans school in Garus, and Bahram, the agent of the office of Finance.

Tiriski Niski's letter to Nuzhat al-Dawlah
Tiriski Niski, the head of the Engineers Corp in the Department of Roads, writes to Nuzhat al-Dawlah concerning her letter, explaining that his employee Alexander Ivanovich had already rented a house in the Kashk village for him, which he cannot move out of, since the owner, Ni‘mat, has been very honest and kind in his dealings with them; it would be terrible if he returned his kindness with ill actions. Sharaf al-Muluk, wife of the deceased ʻAli Akbar Khan Sharaf al-Mulk Kurdistani and an heir of Muzaffar al-Saltanah, complains against Iʻtizad Divan for seizing the properties of Khan-i Kurdistani [her husband], which belongs to her and her children.

Peasants to Anis al-Dawlah, 1894
A telegram from the peasants of Shaykh Garden in Savah (which was part of the crown lands of Hazrat ‘Abd al-‘Azim) to Anis al-Dawlah. They talk about their debt to the Court and state that after the garden was purchased by Zahir al-Saltanah, the peasants have been suffering from the injustice. The new owner has acquired 70 tumans more than their actual debt, which is beyond their financial means. In this letter, the peasants ask Anis al-Dawlah to act on their behalf before Nasir al-Din Shah. They request justice and for the extra money to be returned to them.

Tuba Khanum's petition
Tuba Khanum complains that despite having taken care of Hisam al-Mulk's daughter, Husayn Khan (the son of ‘Ali Bayg) has turned her against Tuba. She then recounts how after she rented her tragacanth field to Muhammad, Husayn sent some of his men to beat him up and kick him out of the field when he went out to pick the tragacanth. They also beat him another time and left him injured. Tuba Khanum first thought that Zahir al-Mulk had ordered this, but he denied it, so she is now requesting that the addressee punish Husayn for what he has done; on the envelope's verso: Tuba Khanum's seal

Petition to Nuzhat al-Dawlah
The peasants of the village of Turkaman write to Nuzhat al-Dawlah regarding compliance with her order for their cooperation in helping the poor. They state that everyone has been involved except Musa Kalantar, Karbalayi Khalil, and Hamd Allah Kadkhuda [the village chief], who have enticed the steward, Mashhadi Muhammad Aqa, to send a faulty report to Nuzhat al-Dawlah. They explain that the purpose of their gathering has merely been to follow her orders to help the poor.
